We are thrilled to be creating this world premiere show.
A BRAND-NEW script about Peter Pan – the boy who did not want to grow up.
A magical and fun experience for all.

January 10 (6:00PM – 9:00PM),

This will be an “open call”.
People will be seen on a first come basis. There is no sign-up.
What to prepare
- Auditions will be a “cold read” from the script. Script pages will be provided at the audition.
- Youth Performers should prepare a G-rated joke to tell.
- There will be a basic movement audition (NOT dance)

Expectations:
Attendance is mandatory during all scheduled rehearsals. It is critical to the success of all Augusta Players and Augusta Jr Players productions. Each production is cast, rehearsed, and performed within a 6-8 week period. As such, attendance is mandatory during all scheduled rehearsals unless the Jr. Player has requested an approved absence. Any Jr. Player who does not consistently attend rehearsals on time (unexcused) may be removed from the show or recast as deemed necessary by the Director.
No Conflicts will be accepted after March 1, 2025, that have not been listed on conflict sheets.

Peter Pan Character Breakdown
Peter Pan – A boy or girl age 12 – 17. Peter Pan will be expected to have short hair, or willing to cut their hair.
Tinkerbell – A very small girl age 4-6. Tinkerbell has no lines but must be able to pantomime various emotions
Wendy – A girl age 11-15, She is smart and very motherly to her brothers
John – A boy age 10-11
Michael – A boy age 7-9
Mr. Darling/Captain Hook – A man over age 30
Mrs. Darling – A woman over the age of 35
Nana/Crocodile – A boy or a girl age 10 and above, T not speak
Lost Boys and Girls – Any boys or girls ages 8-12. We will cast 7-10 children for these roles
Captain Hook – A man over the age of 35, this person will also play Mr. Darling and is a sort of father figure to the pirates – grown-up lost boys.
Pirates: These men and women are lost boys and girls who have grown up…sort of. They may be grown men or women 18 and up, but they still want a mother and so they are characters who will play caricatures of pirates. They are a funny sordid lot who tell jokes and are rather immature. Comedic Timing will be important.
Cecco – A grown-up man or woman, expected to be a backstage hand
Bill or Billie Jukes – A grown-up man or woman, expected to be a backstage hand
Flint – A grown-up man or woman, additionally, expected to be a backstage hand
Cookson – A grown up man or woman, additionally, expected to be a backstage hand
Starkey – A grown up man or woman, additionally, expected to be a backstage hand
Smee – A grown up man or woman, additionally, expected to be a backstage hand
Noodler – A grown up man or woman, additionally, expected to be a backstage hand
