Walk into your next audition with confidence! This audition masterclass is designed to help performers refine their material and feel fully prepared.

Receive personalized coaching as you perform a 16-bar vocal cut of your choice. You’ll get individual feedback on your vocal performance, acting choices, audition technique, and presentation to help you make a lasting impression.

Put your movement skills to work as we review and clean an audition dance combination that will be sent to attendees in advance. We’ll focus on performance quality, musicality, confidence, and the details that help you stand out in the room.

With a combination of private-style individual coaching and collaborative group learning, this masterclass provides a supportive environment to strengthen your audition skills, gain valuable feedback, and leave feeling ready for your next opportunity.

Adult Musical Theatre Dance (Ages18+)

Teen Musical Theatre Dance (Ages 13 to 17)

Sunday, Aug 9 1:00 pm to 2:30 pm | $40

This energetic class is designed for teens who want to strengthen their dance technique while developing the performance skills essential for musical theatre. Students will learn Broadway-inspired choreography, improve coordination, musicality, and stage presence, and explore storytelling through movement in a fun and supportive environment. Whether preparing for auditions or simply looking to grow as a performer, this class builds confidence and versatility for the stage.

About The Instructor

Ashley Chasteen is thrilled to return to play with her Augusta Family! Ashley’s career has spanned choreographing, performing, producing, writing, directing, teaching master classes and judging dance competitions for 20+ years. Favorite choreography credits: Cinderella at Rocky Mountain Rep, My Fair Lady at Atlanta Lyric, Seven Brides… and Shrek! at Bigfork Summer Playhouse, Annie Get Your Gun at Thin Air Theatre Company, and Jesus Christ Superstar and School of Rock (Auggie Award Winner – Best Choreography) with The Augusta Players. Favorite performance credits: Evita, Mamma Mia, Jersey Boys, Jekyll & Hyde, Sunset Boulevard, and The Bodyguard! at NSMT, CATS National Tour (Bombalurina), Catch Me if You Can National Tour (Swing/DC), A Chorus Line at Atlanta Lyric (Cassie), A Christmas Story and Pippin at TUTS, The Boy from Oz at Stages St. Louis, Carousel at Houston Grand Opera, and The Lion, the Witch… at The Alliance.
